CabaConnect is a mobile marketplace that connects buyers in Algeria with travelers who carry products from abroad. Think of it as a peer-to-peer courier and shopping service — buyers get access to products unavailable locally, and travelers earn money from their spare luggage space.
When a buyer accepts a traveler's offer, they pay a secure deposit from their in-app wallet. This deposit is held in escrow — meaning neither party can access it — until the delivery is confirmed via the handover code. This protects both buyers and travelers throughout the transaction.
If a traveler fails to deliver the item, the deposit held in escrow is returned to the buyer's wallet. CabaConnect also has a dispute resolution process and traveler ratings to maintain accountability across the platform.
CabaConnect is primarily designed for product purchases from abroad. However, the platform can be used for sending small packages or envelopes as well — just post a request with the details and travelers can make offers to carry it for you.
When a delivery is ready, the buyer receives a unique 6-digit PIN in the app. During the in-person handover, the buyer shares this code with the traveler, who enters it to confirm delivery. Once verified, the escrow deposit is released to the traveler's wallet automatically.
